The Dangerous

Music Men

You can feel the full power of Luke’s music when it’s played by his band, The Dangerous Music Men! Made up of 11 different members, you’ll be able to see a 4-5 piece combination of them playing with Luke at select shows throughout the year. They take Luke’s distinct Northern-Michigan-Americana sound and dial it up with a distinctive rock and funk sound - some might call it dangerous!

The 2024 Band Members:

This year’s band is made up of a diverse group of music-men from all around the state of Michigan:

Travis Aukerman - drums, percussion

Dan Palmer - lead guitar, mandolin

John Piatek - bass, vocals

Carter Floering - saxophone

Jake Rummel - bass

Ryan Frietas - bass, saxophone

  • All of the music Luke has online is recorded with The Dangerous Music Men - but if you want something extra special then you should check out Luke’s official YouTube channel! There are several videos there of him playing with the whole band under the playlist “Full Band Shows.”

  • On the “Tour” tab of this site make sure to look for shows that have the description “Luke Woltanski and his Dangerous Music Men LIVE in concert.” These will be the shows that you can see the full band playing live at!

  • You can send an email to Luke’s booking agent through the contact page on this website! Be aware: if you are booking Luke with his band then you should make sure to have a venue that can handle lots of volume, a time-frame that allows for a 3 hour setup and teardown, and expect that booking the whole band will cost more than Luke solo. You will get a high energy and family-friendly show, one that you and your clientele won’t forget!

  • Dan Palmer has been and always will be the most attractive member of the band. This is not open for debate.
